Pre-school nursery
The Nursery is a registered charity, managed by a committee of parents for the benefit of children from Dymock and the surrounding areas. We have sixteen places available per session and take children from the age of two years and nine months. We provide a high standard of care and education that prepares your child for their first years at school. In addition, we are providers through the Nursery Education Grant Funding Scheme. This currently means that all children can apply for a funded place from the term after their third birthday.
The nursery provides a safe, friendly and stimulating environment where children can develop confidence in forming relationships with others and acquire good social skills. We monitor and evaluate children's progress so that each child is offered appropriate activities and is able to fulfil his or her potential. We work in partnership with parents, promoting an atmosphere where they feel able to express any concerns and encouraging them to be involved in the life of the Nursery. We maintain strong links with the school and in particular the reception teacher, to ensure a smooth transition from nursery to school.
