Class one
Class 1 is a creative, enjoyable and educational environment. We closely follow the EYFS curriculum which covers the following 6 areas of learning:
- Literacy Language and Communication
- Problem Solving Reasoning and Number
- Creative Development
- Physical Development
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Personal Social and Emotional Development
We achieved outstanding in 2008 ofsted report and are very proud of this accolade.
We also value the principles of Every Child Matters considering all of its principles through our caring attitudes towards the children in our class.
Mrs Truelove, Mrs West and Mrs Haynes all enjoy the outdoor side of the curriculum and aim to teach much of the curriculum, through Forest School activities and gardening club.
We also feel as both Mrs Truelove and Mrs West have in the past worked further up the school we are in a great position to guide the children to achieving academically in the future.
