Class Three
Teacher - Mrs Rachel Westall
I can’t believe I have been teaching for 18 years! I started my career in a very large infant school in London, before moving to Surrey and then Gloucestershire 10 years ago.
I have taught at Ann Cam for 9 years, having had part time roles in both the Infants and Juniors. I am currently teaching for 4 days a week in class 3. I am responsible for co-ordinating history throughout the school and have recently started co-ordinating English, alongside Mrs Wellings.
I am married to Clive and have three children, who all attended Ann Cam school. Rhys (15) and Owen (13) both go to St Peter’s High in Gloucester, and Carys (10) is at Longlevens Junior School. In my spare time (?!) I enjoy baking, cake decorating and sugar craft.
Teacher - Mrs Claire Dodd
I joined Ann Cam Primary School in 2005 after many years of working at a small school in Swaledale, North Yorkshire. During my time at Ann Cam, I have taught in Y3/4 and Y5/6 and am currently teaching two days a week with the wonderful children in Class 3.
I am responsible for co-ordinating Science, one of my favourite subjects as I love helping children to answer scientific questions by planning and carrying out practical investigations. I coordinate Science throughout the school with Mrs Spuffard.
In my spare time I love baking, drawing, walking my dog on the Malverns and looking after my lovely family.
Teaching Assistant - Mrs Shelagh Steele
I am married with three children and live in Corse after moving from Kempley. My youngest daughter is a junior at Ann Cam School and my older children Joshua, Harriet and Millie have many happy memories of their school days at Ann Cam School.
I have been a member of the school's PTFA and was a Foundation Governor at the school.
